Anyway, there's also another good news or rather hope for Tungsten E user. According from what I've heard, the same wifi card Sandisk made for palm71 are used under Tungsten E by the people working at Sandisk. They are not going to release any driver for T|E simply because they couldn't guarantee that the wifi card will bring no harm to the T|E device. Apparently the driver used on the T|E is the same driver for Palm zire 71. I've long wanted to be able to get on-line anytime anywhere, but have no desire to have an actual cell-phone. I just want data. But, I don't want to be tied to a specific device- hip-top sickkick for example. It's an awesome little thing, but it's not the same as having my badass desktop replacement PDA on the cellnet whenever I want. :)

Rev Aaron

Comments on Add WiFi to the Tungsten E using Enfora's Wireless Portfolio Case

I use the SanDisk WiFi SDIO card to access the internet from my Tungsten E via my home LAN, even though the card is only specified for the Zire 71.

Joe Aiken

Comments on Add WiFi to the Tungsten E using Enfora's Wireless Portfolio Case

Check out the "Curious about T|E Wireless, called customer service... interesting reply!" thread in the Tungsten E forum of the pdastreet.com web site.

Joe Aiken
