I had _many_ plans for IMFree hacks, but they went up in flames after about 30 minutes of using the thing.

Dan Kaminsky

Comments on Free up your computer with IMfree

Although I don't match the demographic this thing aims at, I got this thing so I don't have to be tethered to my computer for a good chat. So far I'm not too disapointed as it does what it's supposed to do which is lets you go mobile. The only real problems I see with this thing is the screen is hard to see in dark lighting, and the keyboard takes a lot of getting used too. However the keyboard can be easily over come as you get used to it. Now as for why this doesn't match my demographic is because the demographic supposedly is towards young teen girls. However I am a 34 year old male and feel this is a product anyone can enjoy. Unfortunatly it's stuck on AIM/AOL until MOtorola updates it. Unfortunatly I have a bad feeling they never will update it as the FAQ info for it is a couple of years old. I think Motorola did a terrible job marketing this thing and it obviously shows. I think this is a great product that could have great potential but may be doomed by terrible marketing.

Phoenix Raine

Comments on Free up your computer with IMfree

If motorola puts Msn or icq or Aol Multi-choice contact listing options , this thing would sell. But unfortunately this iMFREE is out-of-date..

Omer Bilsel

Comments on Free up your computer with IMfree

I got one for $15 at walmart and it doesn't work on my mac through Virtual PC 7.1

Scott

Comments on Free up your computer with IMfree

I just got this and the first thing I have to say is that it is fantastic.
