Seriously, how can this be so? Sony almost had a killer multimedia product on their hands. How many people do you know that are going to go through the trouble of encoding these videos? How many people name things in all caps?

This is silly. Almost as bad as their MP3 implementation.

After installed, you don't have to open QT for the 3GP Converter to work, just run the program like described above.

Again, the main thing is that you have the newest version of Quicktime. The article mentions that the 3GP Converter may ask you to install it, but as was the case with mine, JUST BECAUSE IT DOESN'T ASK, DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE THE QT YOU NEED.

Unfortunately Quicktime now comes packaged with iTunes, which I can deal without. But after installing it, everthing worked out perfectly for me. However, not all formats convert, so you should initially try a batch of different formats to see which ones get spit back out.

Of course, I'm assuming you have a PC cause I believe the Mac's have a couple extra steps to do.
