And FYI to the article's writer, there were no Mech Suits in the Starship Trooper's movie. They were in the TV Show and Book though. I know alot of people were disappointed in the movie, just because they didn't show the ulra-cool Mecha's the book invented! It was like a Token movie without Hobbits. you Alaskans know as well, we have more acres up here than any other state, the
likliness of anyone knowing what anyone else is doing up here in their backyard
or otherwise, is slim to none, espescially since the story got it wrong, check

As for DARPA, Those jackasses are far too busy giving money to the jerks with
too much education, and not enough common sense to use it to realise that they
should focus more on building things that work, and less on making them out of
platinum, gold, and whatever else they must be made of to justify spending 50
million dollars on what breaks down to essentially be nothing more than a
moderately sophisticated legbrace built from parts that any shmo out there can
obtain for a couple grand on Ebay, northern tool, or surplus catalog!!!
Give us a break DARPA! maybe when your through throwing away all the rest of
our tax dollars on ridiculous robots, you might reconsider armoring our American
humvees, as well as providing Bulletproof vests instead of those ridiculous
Flack jackets our soldiers are currently equipped with, which couldn't stop an incoming dragnfly, then maybe we wont be
losing so many American lives on foreign territory! Maybe if they held off on the waste spending, it wouldnt be so hard to do thse things? Some reseach projects CAN be put on hold, and Exoskeletons don't need to cost 50, million dollars! Hey maybe while your throwin all that money into the garbage and buying gold toilet seats, you guys could shell a little of that love my way?LOL! well... just a thought!

I'd say this mecha is more akin to a construction vehicle than a robot. He's been interviewed on numerous websites including C|NET news. There are working videos on the robot.

Also comment #22, the webdesigner is not Rusty, Rusty is just Carlos Owen's "manager". I was contacted by them becasue they were looking for someone to design their website and I own a webdesign company but unfortunately the bigger design firm "CEONEX" got the call on the project.

As some of you may know CEONEX is a very big company and they helped fund Carlos to buying some parts. Also you can see in the picture on the main site that their is an AD right there on the front of the robot advertising CEONEX.
