Sanyo's VPC-C4 Digital Media Camera

We're trying to figure out whether there is any difference between the Xacti DMC-C4, which Sanyo released in Japan back in August and the VPC-C4 Digital Media Camera, which they just announced today, but we're guessing they're the same thing. Both are solidstate MPEG-4 minicamcorders that weigh a scant 5.6 ounces, record to SD cards rather than video tape (you can squeeze about an hour of DVD quality onto a 1GB card), have a four megapixel sensor for taking still images (you can snap stills while shooting video), a 5.8x optical zoom lens, and have 1.8-inch LCD screens.
