MacMice releases guitar gear for Macs, iPods
Just in time for Macworld Expo, peripheral company MacMice is set to launch the GuitarPlug, a USB connector for electric guitars. Seems like a great way to get your solos into GarageBand, but it doesn't include any software to help those of us who are, uh, musically impaired improve our sound. MacMice will also be releasing the JamPod, an adaptor that turns an iPod into an amp, so that you can practice guitar and listen to yourself on the earphones. It also lets you mix your own playing with whatever is in your iPod, so you can play along — or in our case, turn the guitar way down, the iPod way up, and dream.
