If you plan on doing anything serious with audio with this thing surely you'd be using a usb or firewire interface. Thus the "BYO monitor" stuff.  And the "use your USB keyboard" stuff.  <br><br>Apple saw a entry point in all the iPod users switch from PC to Mac, this is a way to open that door a little wider.
