Indi-Tech's iBOM IM-100, we don't need no screen
Ah, the first of the oblique screenless shuffle ripoffs has arrived—the iBOM (which stands for Box of Media) IM-100 is a mere 1.57 x 1.57 x 0.5-inches in size (not quite the world's smallest), and lets you carry with you a paltry 128MB or 256MB of flash memory running off an integrated li-polymer battery. Okay, we'll admit, once you start taking the screens out of these players (not that we encourage that kind of behavior) you do open yourself up to a lot of interesting—and very, very small—possibilities.
