For your usage on a $25 plan, they look at the ports your traffic is on. I'm still using ATTWS and a Tungsten W and VPN still works, so it definitely seems like a Cingular thing...

Tim...I am also attempting to use a 650 on Fido. So far I have had no luck setting up my 650 to access the data plan I am paying for.

Could you tell me what settings you used?
