I bout it about 2 months ago and i haven't been displeased with it yet. all my friends wnat to go out and buy my phone once their contracts are up. The only problems i have had with it is the seldom freezing up when playing a game, but taht is rarely, the only other thing is the limited space. I suggest anyone who buys this phone also look forward to spending more money on a bigger memory stick. I have looked and bought a 1 gig stick (better than the 32 megabytes you get with the phone) i spent around $70 for that. i cureently have about 150 songs, 100 pictures and 20 movies and i still have plenty of space.

Kyle - Illinois

Comments on

I'am geting this phone this weekend i've been reading reviews about it and the comments about it and it seems like a really nice phone i own the RAZOR in black but i am selling it to my older brother but sadly this phone Memory stick duo* max is 128MB only if it supported PRO cuz i have a 512MB that i would love to use for it. :)

Carlos

Comments on

Hi, recenlty i just get Sony Ericsson s710a phone. I planning to get the Memory stick for it, but as i read many review about the phone and the Memory stick for the Sony Ericsson S710a, alot people said that the max capability for the phone is 128MB, but some other said that they bough the Memory Stick Pro duo 1gig and he insert it into the phone and it work fine. So i am kind of confuse. From what i know, it can only 128MB, but i was wondering why many said that they can use more than 128MB. Is there a way you can use Memory Stick more than 128MB? If anyone know please respond, thank you guys

Kasu

Comments on

I have found that you can remove the shutter sound. I wonder why I ever left SE.
I got lucky and got one w/ the latest firmware - an option for no camera sound :D.
I've been spending all my free time making themes for the little black and silver beauty.
It's like a Moto RAZR that looks good AND can actually do something. The pictures are good enough quality that I use it as my 'point and shoot' camera (considering I don't have a point and shoot, but do have a digital SLR...it's much more convenient) and it even LOOKS like a little point and shooter ("Okay, everybody say 'Cheese!'...oh, hold that pose...I HAVE to take this call").

Greg

Comments on

Hey I need to find out how to put a 1G card into this phone I know it can be done but I dont know where I can get the software so if someone can tell me I would be really happy lol well thank you bye

Daniel

Comments on

1. can you put more than 128 MB
2. can you put more than 510 contacts if you add memory stick
3. can you isync all contacts (including those on memory stick) with Mac.

answers to any or all three will be rewarded with plenty of good
e-karma,
thanks!

ck

Comments on

Why can I no longer find this phone on Cingular's website? Once you have used bluetooth to update your new s710a with your calendar and contact database, and popped you MS duo in loaded with tunes, you are not going to need to open the phone's keypad very often (Only to dial a new number, or for text entry). I would argue that a skilled user of this phone would rarely use the keypad.
