I am thinking about buying one of these sets, but the reliability of them seems to be in question. The picture is awesome on the one that I have seen at Best Buy. Very bright and clear without being too edgy. Mostly noticed on skin tones, which seemed to be smooth and consistent. Not the case for some other sets.

I also wish they would bring a smaller HD-ILA out. 52" is just too big for my living room. As for reliability, we (JVC) have used the technology in professional front projectors since 1997. Our proprietary version of LCOS (D-ILA) overcomes the problems other have had with the technology.
