Fujitsu LifeBook N3510 gets snazzy screen

Fujitsu LifeBook N3510

Fujitsu's latest laptop, the LifeBook N3510, is the company's first with a 15.4-inch widescreen display, but they also threw in a few new tricks to make the screen even better. The big news is the addition of a special color filter that should allow it to render a wider range of colors, what they claim is a lot closer to a traditional CRT. They also left off the anti-glare coating common on laptop screens, which means it'll be a lot easier to check your hair in it but, in the right lighting conditions it should also result in more vibrant colors. Otherwise, it looks like a pretty decent system with a 1.7GHz Pentium M 740, 512MB RAM, 60GB hard drive, plus a multiformat DVD burner. An extra $400 will also give you a TV tuner ala Toshiba's Qosmio line—just don't expect Media Center support out of the thing.
