the XT looks like a bad attempt to appeal to off-roaders. who's gonna bring a bb gun to the honda atv fight? really. I mean, you couldn't even do good hiking (no pun intended) in it, it'd get stuck on a root! That machine is simply amazing. It has the most unreal feel in the world. I mountain bike, ski and snowboard, I also own a three-wheeler, but that machine expierence is unlike anything else I have ever seen.

I think having a Segway could be kind of nifty but I think the offroad functionality would be pretty limited except in situations like golf. For golf and stuff I can see the use, keep in mind people already take pride in roaming around acres of green grass in four wheel battery operated vehicles. It was decades of poor business sense that made Apple the small niche in the PC market--instead of the industry leader. I will probably buy one due to my arthritic feet and knees. I'm 48 years old and this machine will be a great help in my getting around as I age.
