Broadband available everywhere, without hotspots? This is huge if you ask me. Sure, it's expensive now, but it will and should come down soon. There should be more tech coming out based on this. Hello, internet in cars? Holy crap.  It's literally like DSL over your cell phone.  It's so much faster than any cell-based data standard that I'd really call it a paradigm-shifter... that is, if it could possibly be cheap enough for people to use it.<br><br>It is worth pointing out that in the area I was in, the Verizon employees were pretty much the only ones who had access. BUT the latency issues as well as upload speeds leave room for improvement. Honestly, I find Qualcomm's decision to cut its losses to be refreshing and kinda admirable.
