Sanyo's XACTI DMX-C5
No surprise here, given that we'd had a hint that this was on its way a couple of weeks ago, but Sanyo's just announced their new XACTI DMX-C5 MPEG4 camcorder which records to SD memory cards instead of video tape. This the upgraded version of the DMX-C4/VPC-C4 we've covered before, they've just upped the resolution of still pics from four to five megapixels. Also sports a 2-inch LCD screen, a 5x optical zoom lens, and during those lonelier moments, can also double as webcam. Should be out by the end of the month, at least in Europe.
