Energy speakers Take Series adds two: FPS and TWR
Two new audiophile offerings from Energy Speakers as part of their Take Series: the Take FPS and TWR, rounding out the series with four total offerings including the already available SAT and the LCR. Each member of the series is built from a rigid aluminum enclosure, minimizing cabinet resonance without sacrificing volume; ultimately this means better bass response and better blend with a powered subwoofer. The new members of the lineup boost the Elliptical Surround woofer size from 3.5 to 4.5-inch units with cast baskets, and feature the Take Series standard 1-inch chambered aluminum dome tweeter. The FPS (photo, on left) can be mounted either horizontally or vertically and ships with a 25 degree adjustable wall bracket. Frequency response runs from 60Hz to 23KHz at 200 Watts. The TWR tower (photo, at right) includes a glass base, but can also be wall mounted with an included bracket. Frequency response is from 52Hz to 23KHz at 250 Watts. Both units are available in your choice of black or silver.
