SimWatcher lets you know who has your stolen cellphone
Totally obvious way to help stop cellphone theft: a new cellphone app called SimWatcher that automatically sends an SMS text message whenever someone pops a new SIM card into the phone (don't set it to send an SMS to yourself, that won't do you much good after your cellie's been stolen) and display a warning message onscreen saying that the phone belongs to someone else. Won't stop your phone from getting swiped in the first place, but it will let you know the number of the person who has it. Or at least it will until thieves realize that they need to disable the app before they swap in a new SIM card.
