People apparantly took the book seriously and had complaints about the accuracy of its content.
Ex. "I have studied Ninjutsu for 12 years now, and I have seen alot of people try to teach an art that they know nothing about. This is the poorest example of ninjutsu training I have ever seen. It is not even a training manual as much as it is an absurd attempt to give insight into the lives of the Ninjuts (Ninja). Save your money and buy one of Steven Hayes books."

Or "As a Christian and follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, I was extremely offended by this book. It tells its readers to practice pagan rituals and even commit suicide with a bent frisby.
