A camera of this level WOULD BE SO BACK ORDERED  WORLDWIDE THEY'RE HEADS WILL SPIN.<br><br>IN THOSE EXECUTIVE METTINGS, THEY WOULD BE SAYING...."How in the world are we gonna catch up to the order demand of this product.????!!!!<br><br>They Just Don't Get it. Camera 's from sony and jvc and panasonice used to cost thousands upon thousands of dollars and now we get the same fps that we all want and the resolution and you guys complain....shut up already rome was not built over night. If you want a serious HD camera, you are going to have to pay the money for it. Firewire 800's data rate is...you guessed it. 800Mbps. <br><br>100Mbps is one quarter LESS than 400Mbps.<br><br>A hard drive's data rate is far more than firewire. That's how firewire is able to transfer things at 800Mbps... <br><br>I'm a professional. I've been using a Digital Betacam for the past 6 years, and never changed the lens. I'm looking at getting two of these cameras for my company. The firestore drives should be updated to handle HDV this month. They are working to have it support DVCPro HD by March 06.
