FujiFilm FinePix Z1 reviewed

Our fine European friends at LetsGoDigital have a review of a pre-production model of FujiFilm's sleek little 5.1 megapixel FinePix Z1. The camera, which is just 18.6mm thick (that's 0.73-inches on this side of the pond), has one of those folding 3x optical zooms and a 2.5-inch LCD up on the flipside. They gave the Z1 a big thumbs up barring any unforeseen changes to the final production model, and the only bad news is that you'll have to wait until June to get one, when they'll be available in either silver or black for about $450 US.

This article is an example of why I only ever read DPReview (and occasionally StevesDigicams) for camera reviews. Where are the actual test results? I suspect these guys reviewed a spec sheet, not a camera.
i agree with #1
this is VERY much like sonys T model or whatever..sonys evn did the adaptive lcd lighting bit, i think. but the camera sucked and it took memory stick. maybe this will be what that wasn't..too bad ill never pay 450 for a point and shoot :p
sigh... and still nothing on the coolpix s1
I want one.

if u pay 450 for it your crazy... i've already seen it as low as 319 on a trustworthy website... http://www.digitalliquidators.com/detail.asp?id=fjfpz1b
as far as i'm concerned (if its all its talked up to be) it would be well worth 319
