Jacetech JP-2010A - portable media player with removable HDD
The new Jacetech JP-2010A portable media player has something we haven't seen in too many other players: a user-swappable 20GB hard drive. Given the size of some media collections, this could be a useful feature. Of course, as dapreview points out, the 1.8-inch drives that power the unit are a little more expensive than larger drives. But with prices starting to come down (we've seen 40GB Hitachis for as little as $142), this is an idea we wouldn't mind seeing implemented by other manufacturers as well. Just remember to be careful carrying around those extra platters.
