I'm sure the reflections on the screen are the problem, but that's not exactly a selling point for the TV either - these things are supposed to prevent reflections!

Compare this to the pics of the OLED panel that was up here a few days ago, it's like night and day. (I'm sure in person there's little, if any, visible difference in picture quality... but this is just a bad photo.)

Samsung's latest models seem impressive, but I'm still not sure about the plasma route. The half lives of plasmas are supposed to be much better, but considering the price of investment (4x the cost of a normal set), it's a little sketchy. I really wish/hope that large screen LCD set prices continue to fall steadily (although it's rumored that they may not).
