Before NTP sued them, RIM was running all over the place threatening every company with a thumb keyboard or wireless push email solution of infringing on their patents. They even went as far as to try to demand that anyone using a thumb keyboard license the "technology" from them.<br><br>You will notice that ever since they got hit with the instant karma of being accused of patent infringement themselves, there hasn't been a peep from their legal department about suing anyone else. I would love to think that they had learned their lesson, though it is probably more likely that their legal department has just been too busy to get around to being a pain in someone else's side.<br>]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[L.
