It costs the same as a good bike so I can lock it up outside without too much worry. It also has the same capabilities, yet doesn't leave you all sweaty when you get to your destination. (no, I'm not an overweight American, I walk and bike everywhere, but sometimes you just need to go from A to B quickly without a complete workout).<br><br>jg, so who cares if the Segway and other scooters didn't realize all the hype about changing cities. They're still useful and will become more so as time goes on. Are you saying that just because they didn't live up to the hype, they're useless? Are you letting your thoughts be controlled by the media? Isn't it a good thing when decent designs are improved or emulated?
