BenQ E510, E520 with Pentax SMC optics
We're not rushing out to buy any of BenQ's latest digicams — these are strictly me-too point-and-shoots for the budget crowd — but at least they've made a concession to image quality and upgraded their optics to Pentax SMC lenses. BenQ says the new lenses improve contrast and clarity. The new models are the are the E510 and E520; both are 5 megapixel cameras with 3x optical zoom; the main difference between the two is that the E520 (pictured) has a 2.5-inch LCD and a VGA movie mode, while the E510 has a 2-inch LCD and QVGA movies.
