The airport security wand that won't take no crap from ya
Oh sure, it's definitely an airport security wand, the standard fare that picks up metal objects and even has a mode for detection of explosives traces. But what sets Amit Weisman's patent application apart from the rest of the airport security devices is that if this particular wand should happen to detect explosives, a silent alarm goes off for the security guard, giving them a chance to slyly move the device up to the neck area and rock the integrated taser system, incapacitating the subject. The principle is that if a terrorist is caught by a wand, the guard probably wouldn't have time to whip out his sidearm and take 'em down. Let the lawsuits begin! [Warning, PDF link]
