I griped to Cingular, they gave me more SMS for the same price I was paying, plus told me that they were currently transparently testing filtering SMS. I think they must have activated it some time ago, because I might get one SMS spam a week now.

SMS spam is very frustrating.. BS the spam filter I've got at home is the best I've ever seen. My service provider spams me every now and then with useless information and even goes as far as wishing me a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year with an unwanted text message every year.
