So it can go from standing, to lying on the floor to taking a crap position. I know that's more than most robots can do even without their padded suits, but it seems like they mastered the hardest part. How about finishing the motion and actually standing up? Unless they just haven't refilled it's poop bin and this is actually the world's fist pooping robot. In which case, we're all screwed.

Second.. Why would this be on engadget? Bipedal robots that get up on their own have been around for ages. Heck, even Asimo can do it. I would of been more impressed if it did a kip up but then again i have already seen a robot do that. I think it was one of sony's robot? I'm reminded of my senior year house, where we sent the cordless phone up and down the stairs via a bucket on a pulley - aka the RAPIDS Returnable Anchored Phone Interfloor Deployment System - with appropriate sponsorship stickers, etc. Second generation was a galavanized bucket, too, that bucket MADE you respect its presence if you drunkenly headed upstairs without due care.
