What we're watching and why:

Ahh, the Riviera coastline. I was last there in '98 and enjoyed the scenery. Now it's available in HDTV, as the Riviera is the subject of tonight's episode of "Rick Steves' Europe" on HDNet at 8:30 p.m. Monaco and Nice are among the destinations. Also, for those of you looking for a little more action in your high-def watching, you can catch the NASCAR Grand National Division race at 5:30 p.m.
