UK cries "I want my analogue TV!"

GMB

Transitions and change are never easy. Just ask any of the 700,000 members of Britain's General Union, the GMB. Many GMB members are in an uproar about the quality and stability of their digital television signal and plan to switch back to "analogue" as they say.

Likened to winning the lottery, terrestrial digital signal reception seems to come and go based on various factors like weather. GMB members are organizing and lobbying for the Union to slow down the transition. The hope is that the 2008 digital switchover plan becomes an "aspiration".
