GM has a corporate wide mandate to not slam the Aztec's over abundance of ugly. Apparently they just need to make that a running unordered list. That could very well be true, but has that got to do with THIS laptop ? If it's being marketed at people owning Hummers (or more likely H2's) they will likely never, I repeat NEVER, go farther 'off-road' than the length of their driveway. So I hardly think it took much to sufficiently ruggedize a laptop to survives the dangers of, what...the living room ? the den ? a 3 - 4 star hotel room ? an ivy league dorm room/library maybe ?

Though it can't possibly NEED to be said, I will anyway and state that all this thing is REALLY designed to provide is a certain IMAGE. I wasn't really meaning to insult Ivy Leaguers (well, not ones I don't know anyway). I just meant that *most* (but probably not all) Ivy league students have a bit more money at their disposal to spend on image-centric stuff, else they would likely be at other cheaper state or private schools. But of course I know there are a great many more financially challenged students out there who work their a$$e$ off to earn money and scholarships so they can attend the school they want to go to.

1.) The HUMMER brand is synonymous with Tough. Come on, just compare it to Ford, GM and the rest of the wanna-be’s
2.) Itronix has been producing ‘real’ rugged laptops longer than Panasonic, and for all those who know the difference their products are much tougher. Panasonic spends their money on ‘sexy’ advertising instead of making great products
3.) HUMMER laptop battery seems ‘killer’ comparatively. Reputed lifespan runs 4.5 to 7!! Not bad…
4.) Just try and toss your Dell or IBM in your trunk. It will crash and burn. This one would probably outlive a bumpy ride to the espresso stand on the floorboard of your Hummer!!
5.) Ugly, maybe, Distinctive, absolutely. For some of you ‘pin heads’ ugly is a way of life…live with it. The folks buying Hummer’s ain’t buying’em because they hate’m…nuff said!!
6.) HUMMER laptop is thinner and lighter than Panasonic. The only branding left for them would be 1986 Yugo, but I’d bet they’d get turned down….
7.) And lastly I have heard much better trash talk written by the Jim Rome rejects. Go find your mamma boys. She’s the only one left in the world who cares what you have to say. Oh, and I’d like the 15 mins I’ve wasted of my life back, please…
