So that Gamepark GP2X media player running on Linux is
finally officially on sale (but is it the GP2X, or the GPX2 as was announced previously? The website's a little
schitzo…). For £124.99 including VAT you get the console, a USB cable, CD with games and goodies, 2 AA batteries, and
the SDK for making your own games. The console itself has 64MB internal storage, and you can bundle in a 1GB SD for £45
more if you wish. We're still curious how they manage that claimed six to ten hour operating time on those two
AAs.
