iPod Video will be used in Landscape format. The stretch feature has no use but to make iPod compact and fittable into a pocket, and to save batteries (screens on handhelds suck up a lotta battery life). When small, the screen can display pictures and song details. When stretched, the screen can display web pages and movies. It is 4.0" widescreen format, 768 by 480 pixels.

The other new feature on iPod Video is the click circle. Unlike a click wheel, the click circle does not have a button in the middle. Rather, if one needs to press OK, he or she will just need to tap the circle lightly anywhere they want to, like a notebook touchpad; only this is circular, not rectangular. The four buttons (menu, back, forward, play/pause) will still have that physical force feedback. The scroll function will also be executed on the edge of the circle.
