You better hope it doesn't break though. I think it's a plain ol' swamp cooler.  Just think for a moment...could a single relatively small solar panel supply enough energy to power a real compressor driven freon using a/c unit?  I think not.  This will provide nice cool (not cold) air for those living in dry environments like Arizona.  Otherwise the humidity this thing produces might be worse than the cooling it provides! And swamp coolers only work in very dry climates where you can actually add humidity to the air.
