It should squirt the water at you if you don't wake up in time.<br><br>Or the measurement lines can be used in how I get myself out of bed. I drink X amount of water at night and have to pee by dawn. Grab a glass of water and hit it with a metal object.  It  makes a tone right?  So, empty the glass of water and hit it again.  Does the absence of water suddenly make the sound disappear? Conversely, less water means a lower pitch.
