I am currently with Verizon because i was with T-mobile and the service was horrid here in D.C. metro area. Any news on dates? I hear as early as this month. At the DigitalLife show in NYC last weekend, a Verizon bloke nearly said as much.

There is no comparing EV-DO and EDGE. EDGE is such a joke. I've been using my sprint 1RX for years everywhere and has worked great. Now the EV-DO has worked just about everywhere I've gone.

If you need access to the net don't even think about T-Mobile, go with Verizon or sprint. (I think that would be mainly determined by the coverage in your area.)
