Sony gets into the professional market for LCD's, PDP's too

Not content to let Samsung and Toshiba have all the fun, Sony has launched their own set of network enabled flat panel displays. The 32" and 40" LCD screens feature 1000:1 contrast ratios, while the 50" plasma sports a 10,000:1. The LCD screens can be controlled via network, while the plasma TV is also capable of having media streamed to it, or played from the CompactFlash slot. All feature 1366x768 resolution.

The two LCD's damage comes in at $2100 and $4400, while the plasma will only take an easy $3900 from the pocket.
