Plasmas hit global record high
Plasmas sales are at an all time high. So far this year there have been 1.9 million PDPs sold, and manufacturers expect to quadruple that number by year-end. That makes 7.6 million units sold. (did we mention we love math?) That is a lot of plasmas. The reason for the big increase is the drop in prices abroad from Japan to China, and here in the US. Plasmas are just getting cheaper and cheaper, while they are increasing in quality at the same time. Nothin’ wrong with that.
Like I have said before, once I can afford to get a plasma, hence they drop some more, I plan on getting one. Would you get a plasma if they drop enough in price or are you sold on a different display technology?
