$39.99 is for "cell phone as a modem" Internet access (with voice plan).
$59.99 is for "PC card modem" Internet access (without voice plan).

So to add this service to your cell phone, it will cost about $27. Add five bucks, $20 a month, and you get more channels, such as NFL Network live feed and Fox News live feed. Also unlimited picture/video messaging. Five MORE bucks, $25 a month, and apparently you get some more channels, like ESPN content and TLC and stuff.

If you want to tether your phone, TECHNICALLY you're supposed to be either on the $59 or $79 plan. The salespeople (myself included) typically won't sell the device without the correct plan and most care reps won't change it either. However, a $19.99 plan works great on an EDGE card. But you have to have a BlackBerry plan for BlackBerry email and you have to have the correct unlimited plan to get your rebate!]]>Dec 19th 2005 2:38AM
