Wafian intros HD camera storage

I'm all for high-def home movies, but when I see a $15,000 price tag for storage on the fly, I realize we're just not there yet. Wafian has a new rack-mountable storage device for 18 hours of high-def video from your HD camera feed. The gear is really 'geared' towards the professional crowd, but some pro-sumers might have a stash of cash for it too. The unit supports HD-SDI, DVI, FireWire, USB and Gigabit Ethernet. One nice touch is 720p support at 60 frames per second for the JVC GY-HD100U camera which sets you back another four to five grand. Ouch!
