"You guys aren't alchoholics.  You're professionals."<br><br>This thing would just state the already obvious ;)<br><br>Besides, who's going to put a computer next to a keg at a party with a drinking competition in mind?  <br><br>Also, anybody that's had an instant messenger conversation while drunk knows, computers (especially the keyboard) + heavy drinking, doesn't exactly equal functionality.<br><br>I do think this could be very useful in a bar though. The kegbot guys seem to have succeeded where I fell short and they actually sell their meter! There was a similar device built by the defcon elite a couple of years ago that not only dispensed the beer, but required you to login your credentials before it gives you a pint. The bar only serves unfiltered, unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell (fresh from the brewery a few blocks away in Plzen) and has only opened recently. You pull your own beers at your table, and the computer tracks your usage and pits you against other tables. It's quite fun and gets you quite drunk on this finest beer in the world.
