iTunes video would be great, but Apple would never go for it. And Sony wouldn't either, I'm sure.

Assuming that Sony gets it together and starts their own download service in the US with a lot of content, this could be a great thing for PSP owners. The key way that the PSP beats the iPod in video (other than screen) is the wireless feature - PSP could really be pure video on demand, anywhere. I'm happy with the fact Sony is becoming more attentive to upgrades and adding functionality that could have been there all along, but Sony -- Let's see some decent games! I'm already buying my second DS and have come THIS |-| close to selling the PSP on eBay. So far it has not been a wise investment, even if you are playing "homebrew".

Sadly, I think they are on target marketing it as a PMP, rather than a gaming machine. Because a gaming machine it isn't. Grand Theft Auto is fine, but buggy. I use it mostly to surf the internet while lounging around the house. Personally, I hate my PSP -- HATE IT! $289.00 not well spent. Mine still has ver 1.0 on it, and sits in the dresser, while I'm playing games on my DS.
