To comment on 3G being outdated. Just becuase you are "Slingboxing" your cable to your smartphone you still are unable to watch on-demand video from content proveders that will be availbe exclusivley through cingular i.e. HBO. Also if 3G is outdated tell me one other way you can get broadband speeds to your devices outside of Wi-Fi hotspots at the present time.

Streaming is easy. Windows Media Encoder will take any input, or your cable card and stream it to Media Player on the 6700. If you had a 3G capable handset with wifi and UPnP (like the Nokia N80) AND you had a UPnP compatible display, you could stream off your phone and onto that display. I could see PSPs, PVPs, and even your home TV being used for this. Why pay for HBO again if it's bundled in with your cell phone service?]]>Dec 19th 2005 2:32AM
