DLP chip-maker could just take a "wait and see" approach, but where's the
fun in that?
just signed a deal to help promote high-def television first in
Shanghai and eventually throughout China. With such a huge potential audience, it's surprising that other HDTV
component manufacturers aren't taking the same approach. Education appears to be the approach for this deal as TI wants
to spread the word about their DLP technology. TI is working with Shanghai
on the DLP-awareness campaign. Any guesses on which HDTV-company moves to China next?
