I'm still waiting for a camera with the ability to slot-in 2.5" HDs (up to 100gb) for direct recording in the DV25 (or DV50?) format. That would be absolutely invaluable.

This is an ignoramus comment. How many 'CCDs' does a Canon EOS-1DsMkII have? Does it take fine images? If it took 24 or 30 of those images a second would you want it?
