I mean, why not just get a wireless TV. You can hook it into your (fuller featured) DirecTivo, along with your DVD player and whatever else you watch. The screen is small, the device is huge for a 10" lcd, the speakers suck, and you have to have a satellite-driven coax cable to plug it into. Frankly, I'm missing the "portable" part of this being portable. It's either a 10" LCD TV with integrated DTV, or a DTV receiver with integrated 10" LCD monitor. The portable claim is definately a stretch.

Buzz_Kill

Comments on Samsung's SL10D10: a portable DIRECTV player

The press release says it can also receive "up to 72 channels of XM Satellite Radio audio channels."

Dave L

Comments on Samsung's SL10D10: a portable DIRECTV player

In all fairness, Samsung arnt the ones saying its portable, Engadget are.
