I really feel that I experienced the best of CES through the blog (the amount of posting was superhuman) and the podcasts. You definately surpassed last year by miles.

al saiz

Comments on Engadget Podcast 060 - 01.07.2006

that idea of a product that wont sell well/make money, but helps out with brand image/marketing in the auto-world is called a "halo-car" could we see the begining of the halo-PC?

Evan

Comments on Engadget Podcast 060 - 01.07.2006

I remember reading about CES on Engadget last year while I was in Afghanistan. I would stay up late and hit the refresh button. Not criticizing on you're coverage, but it seems like this years CES isn't as exciting as last years. Maybe 'cause I was excited mostly about the iAudio X5. I was fairly disapointed to see the iAudio 6 as Cowon/iAudio's new player. I was eager to see iAudio's answer to the new (and gay) iPod. I wanted at least a mock up. None found.

Who cares about 103" Plasmas when the average consumer can't afford one. Come on guys (guys = manufacturers), bring some cool shit that we've never seen before. Re-invent the wheel and not just make the wheel bigger. Blah.

/rant.

And a big thumb to you guys for having great coverage to where google even reads your blogs.

Keep up the good work guys!

Kyu

Comments on Engadget Podcast 060 - 01.07.2006

Google loves Engadget - that is fantastic.

Lovin Paul's work on the keynotes, and truly looking forward to Paul and Peter workin' their magic at Macworld. I reckon it'd be great (if you guys are there early or have some time to burn as you wait for a keynote to start) if you could informally gather a few words from some of your fellow reporters in your immediate vicinity on their own personal expectations and their predictions of the keynote before the keynote commences. That way we can better understand what the general buzz is like whilst we wait for the keynote.

Loved the CES coverage over the past few days and of course, lovin the podcasts as always - keep up the good work.

Ricky C.
