Talk about a company with no vision. They thought the LandCam (Camcorder) was a bad idea. They missed the boat on so much and in the late 90's came up with a flashlight that was supposed to be the savior of the company. Ya right before they all but closed their doors. Who ever it was that ended up with the shell of a company should drop the name "Polaroid" all together.

Tsunamii

Comments on Polaroid unveils 80GB PMP, portable gaming console

here you go ...

http://www.pettersgroup.com/en/default.html

michael

Comments on Polaroid unveils 80GB PMP, portable gaming console

I think what w're seeing here may be Polaroid licensing their name, like Bell & Howell and some others do.

E. And why not? It's got video; a nice big screen; a third more GB than the closest ipod; and it can play good old free roms. The idea is great, but I have to admit I'd have a hard time forking over $600 to "polaroid". Or rca, or nexxt (or whatever), or tandy... It just isn't a trustworthy brand imo. And polaroid might want to tweak the design a bit. Gamepark's got exactly the right idea with the gp2x. Now if that thing had 80 gigs, well then I would have to go buy one.

kurdt
