And Maxtor makes the best drives.<br><br>Every expensive product I've bought from Sony  has died within a month of the warranty being up.<br><br>I've never had a Maxtor drive fail on me.<br><br>These are my personal experiences, your mileage may vary.<br><br>I was a loyal Toshiba laptop user for years, but Acer had the only laptop out there with the bundled features I wanted at the time.
