The second tablet we have had for a total of 7 months (2 of those it was shipped off to have test ran on it because it wasn't funtioning properly) of the last 2 months that we have had it back it still has high heat buildup (ac or dc) and the same as the first tablet, display blinks off and on and the bluetooth will not connect and stay connected with any consistency. We are using the tablet with gps analyst extension as a data collector connecting with bluetooth to a Trimble receiver.

Gregg

Comments on Xplore Technologies' DualMode AllVue Tablet PC iX104C2DV

Send those over to Iraq with quake on em... :)

Victor

Comments on Xplore Technologies' DualMode AllVue Tablet PC iX104C2DV

My goodness. It is also pen & touch input. Due to the ruggadized nature, it is a heavy, uncomfortable beast. The pen gets out of alignment near the edges of the screen, which can make it difficult to use (location of the start button, system tray, taskbar, close button, menus). I've also had it freeze more often then Windows usually does. But, I do enjoy the pen to draw doodles. I suppose one day I'll get around to developing the application for our operations supervisors.

devid
